About the Parents
At LaLa’s Lilliputian Lassies, I am dedicated to breeding exceptional “Toy” Shetland Sheepdogs with a strong emphasis on health, temperament, and family happiness. My goal is to provide loving homes with small, high-quality companions, ensuring each puppy’s well-being and joy. Our dogs are cherished family members above all else. They live inside with us, sleep in our bed, enjoy outings to dog-friendly places and car rides.
My parent dogs were carefully chosen from top breeders who have dedicated over four and five decades to developing the ideal Toy Sheltie (or UK-type Sheltie). While I cannot claim credit for creating these lines, I am committed to preserving, maintaining, and perhaps one day enhancing them. Health has always been my highest priority, so I only partnered with breeders who conducted thorough health screenings before breeding. I sought the classic, voluminous Sheltie coat on a refined, elegant, and petite dog with a wonderful, loving, outgoing, and highly trainable personality. I am proud to say I succeeded and now offer some of the finest tiny AKC Shetland Sheepdogs available anywhere!
I perform thorough health, genetic, and personality testing on every dog before including them in my breeding program. Only dogs free from all health issues are accepted. I do not breed dogs affected by or carrying genetic conditions. Additionally, all my dogs are classified as Low Risk for DNS. Each dog’s DNA is registered with the AKC to verify parentage and confirm they are purebred AKC Shetland Sheepdogs. All dogs have proper dentition and receive regular annual dental care. We never breed runts or dogs with health defects to achieve a smaller size. I absolutely do not introduce other breeds into our lines for size reduction. Furthermore, I strictly avoid inbreeding in my program.
Per the AKC, dogs are only considered to be Clear By Parentage (CBP) for 1 generation and all dogs should be individually tested before entering a breeding program. AKC states that many breeders fail to continue to test their dogs and that is how health problems enter lines and go undetected. All of my dogs have been health tested through Embark and I am working on getting a second set of health tests through the AKC so the results will be noted on their website for public view.

I provide one of the strongest guarantees (and most comprehensive Puppy Packs!) in the industry and fully stand behind my dogs. I carefully research and consult experienced breeders I respect to ensure every pairing improves the breed’s future. Currently, I am pursuing AKC Sports titles for all my dogs. We are focusing on earning Trick Dog titles and plan to explore additional competitive opportunities. My goal is for every breeding dog to earn an AKC title before producing their first litter.

This is the dad of all my puppies to date. Naturally tipped ears.

I waited two years for this amazing dog, and he was worth every moment! He is a working Service Dog whose presence is invaluable to me. Kaizen has an incredible spirit and a vibrant personality—fun, outgoing, and absolutely stunning. Unlike most sires, he actively participates in raising and caring for his puppies.
Kaizen is the offspring of the most renowned cross in Toy Sheltie history, Durango and Betsy of Foxpoint Farms. Known for producing exceptionally small size, excellent health, remarkable temperament, and stunning appearance, all his puppies are absolutely beautiful!

Gorgeous Tri Colored girl with excellent naturally tipped ears. Her name is a nod to my love for anime and translates to “Magical Girl Zyla”

Zyla may be small in size, but her personality is larger than life! She loves everyone, fears nothing, and is adored by all. We affectionately call her the “Fun Police” because no one can play or have fun without including her! She is a devoted mother, caring deeply for her children. When she needs to leave, she makes sure another dog stays with them until she returns!
Windy Hills Eien Ni Saku Himawari “Blossom”
Super flashy Sable & White. She is at least 50% white, probably more. Prick ears. Her name roughly translates to “Eternally Blossoming Sunflowers”

A truly sweet girl and an exceptional mother. She loves stealing my husband’s socks to give the babies as toys. While she’s a bit shy around new people, she quickly opens up with some good belly rubs!
3-L’s Lady Galadriel Of Lothlorian – “Glori”
9.5mo beautiful daughter of Kaizen and Blossom. Mostly naturally tipped ears, sometimes they prick.

I am hoping to find her a Bi-Blue boy but if the wait gets much longer I may end up matching her with a CHW. She’s a super sweet girl who loves snuggling in bed and playfully attacking the water spraying from the hose outside.
